What Is It?

My bad, I thought my settings were correct on comment moderation but had forgot to enter an email address for the comments to be sent to so some comments sat in libo.
Record players that came with a built end record changer had a cylinder shaped adapter that fit on the changer for playing 45rpm record because they had a large center whole. 33rpm and 78rpm records had a small center whole. The spindle, or spacer thing Kelly referred to was used for playing 45's on record players that didn't have a record changer, or later for playing 45's without using the cylyner adapter. Life was so easy back then.

Have it gold plated and put on a silver chain and it makes a kool necklace.
